Advantages of reciprocating Pumps
(1) can obtain very high discharge pressure, and flow and pressure independent, good inhalation performance, high efficiency, which steam reciprocating pump up to 80%~95%;
(2) In principle, any medium can be transported, which is almost unaffected by the physical or chemical nature of the medium;
(3) The performance of the pump does not change with pressure and the viscosity of the conveying medium.
Other pumps do not have the above outstanding advantages of reciprocating pumps, but their structure is relatively simple, easy to use, but also small size, light weight, uniform flow, and can be serialized in the advantages of mass production.
Disadvantages of Reciprocating pump
The flow is not very stable.
The same flow rate is larger than the centrifugal pump, the mechanism is complex, the amount of funds is not easy to repair.
