Energy saving and efficiency improvement of water injection pumps technology in Sanji operation area of Tarim

Up to now, the No. 2 water injection pump of Sannan station in Sanji station of Tarim Oilfield has been put into operation after being put into operation successfully. According to preliminary calculations, the revamp of a single pump can save electricity by 2 million kwh per year, saving electricity by 1 million yuan.


There are 3 centrifugal pumps in the Sannan oil and gas treatment station in Tarim Oilfield. The pressure of the pump is 17 MPa at the time of operation, and the pressure of the water injection pipe network is 9.5 MPa. If the pressure of the pump outlet valve is reduced to the pressure of the pipe network, there is a huge energy loss on the one hand. On the other hand, the outlet valve of the water pump will reduce the life of the valve because of the large joint flow.


In order to solve this problem, the Sanghi operation area is one of the important research topics of energy-saving improvement of the water injection pumps in 2017 as one of the important research topics of energy saving efficiency of Liu Yongming Innovation Studio. Through the field data admission, theoretical calculation, the impeller downgrade as the final implementation scheme. After exploring and tackling key problems, equipment technicians and technical maintenance teams worked together to collectively tackle the problem of disintegration, reduction and back loading of water injection pumps. After the water injection system of Sannan station is reformed, the high pressure water injection pumps is operated by frequency and frequency conversion, and the flow rate is reduced by frequency conversion to adjust the total flow to the demand flow of water injection, so as to save energy and reduce consumption. At present, Sanan No. 2 pump injection pump running well, pump outlet pressure from 17 MPa to 10.4 MPa, in the case of constant pump displacement, the motor operation power decreased by 30%.
